Smart Stone is a finishing material with the look of natural stone for facades, plinths, fences and interiors. The panels are about 2 mm thick and weigh about 2 kg/m²; they are fixed with ceramic tile adhesive. The material is made in Chișinău, Moldova, and carries a 50-year warranty.
It looks like stone but weighs only about 2 kg/m², so it adds almost no load to the walls and foundation. The panel is flexible and is used to finish corners and curved elements. It is cut with a knife, and the joints need no grout — the adhesive itself acts as a waterproof grout.
The catalogue has 59 models in five textures: Split Face (split stone), Sandblasted (velvety marble), Brushed (crumpled-silk effect), Travertine and Wood. Clinker brick and mosaic on mesh are also available. Colours range from white and beige to ochre, red and black — 13 shades in total. Yes, the material suits both new construction and renovation. On an old, damaged surface Smart Stone is installed without removing the old finish. Split Face and Travertine textures hide uneven walls, while Sandblasted suits flat walls only.

The base is cleaned and primed, and the wall is marked out with a level. Then the adhesive is applied and the panels are fixed, cut to size with a segmented knife. The only power tool needed is a mixer for the adhesive.

No. After installation and full curing of the adhesive, the finish protects the wall from rain, snow and hail. The material is designed for climates where the temperature crosses zero within a day and protects the wall from cracking under such swings.
Yes. Smart Stone is vapour-permeable and prevents moisture from building up in the wall, which protects against condensation and mould.
Smart Stone is a member of the Israeli Green Building Council; the material meets international environmental criteria and is recommended for use in medical facilities as well. The plant is certified to the ISO 14001 environmental standard.
Smart Stone complements thermal insulation rather than replacing it. Inside the material is a membrane of very fine fibres that helps retain heat. To insulate a facade, Smart Stone can be installed over expanded polystyrene or mineral wool.
The material absorbs sound and adds to the sound insulation of residential, commercial and office buildings. It is extra protection, not a replacement for dedicated sound insulation.

Smart Stone combines several finishing stages in one material. Israeli nanotechnology has made it possible to build waterproofing, energy efficiency and vapour permeability into a single finishing layer. Previously, each of these was a separate process; Smart Stone combines them, saving time and cost. The panels are thin (2 mm) and light (2 kg/m²), become harder than concrete after installation and provide a lasting facade with a single cladding stage.
